Jon desperately wants Arya back alive and I think it's possible that the BWB meet up with him, acknowledging the sheer endless grief of The King In The North and by sacrificing Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr is able to resurrect a vengeful Arya, thus creating Lady Stoneheart. Thoros of Myr along with the Brotherhood Without Banners and Beric Dondarrion (The latter already being revived by Thoros) are making their way up north to (I suppose) Winterfell or The Wall. But there is another red priest with resurrection skills roaming around Westeros.

So we have our Prince That Was Promised, a dead Arya lying at his feet and, unfortunately, no Melisandre to resurrect the beloved sister. Driven by rage and being sure that it's Melisandre in front of him, he will take his sword and thrust it into the chest of her, only to realize that it's Arya after all, because his sword ignites and becomes Lightbringer in the process. Jon did never really trust Mel and when Arya says " Stick 'em with the pointy end!", a sentence only Arya and Jon would know of, he will not be able to believe her due to all the shit Mel did / knew before. She is brought before Jon, who she tries to convince that she is his "sister". Due to unforseen circumstances, she will not be able to change her face back to "Arya" and be taken captive or, in any other way, will be coming back to Winterfell with Mel's face as hers. and now, let's con tinue with the foil.Īrya will kill Mel (who is still on her list) and acquire her face in the process. Making her way up north, Arya will meet up with a person damned to ride south: Melisandre (Possibly confirmed by Mel herself, when meeting Arya for the first time) This is all very likely to happen. As she said in S6E08 to Jaqen H'ghar: "A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell. What will be her next step? Going south to kill Cersei/The Mountain? I don't think so! In my opinion, she intends to go back to Winterfell. So as we know from Arya's last scene in S6E10, where she served the infamous "Frey Pie" to Walder, she is at The Twins / Riverlands by now. I'm really interested in your opinions why, or why not, this could be plausible. Doing some thinking today, I came up with a theory concerning Arya, Lady Stoneheart and Azor Ahai.
